Although, they need a brief description of the products, yet it is much more important to tell them what benefits they will derive from purchasing and what loss they stand to suffer by neglect.

Be specific and Straight to the Point.

Put your feet in the shoes of your customers. There are many mails you opened daily and eventually thrashed because of the length. Go straight to the point. The customer has a few minutes allocated to reading his e-mails per day. Although your subject line has propelled him to open the mail, the length of the e-mail should be as short as possible but yet detailed enough to cater for the aforementioned points while also giving them the step-by-step guidance to necessary lines of action.

There still many other things you might do. Give them true testimonials, tell them short stories, tell them what may probably be their reason for not buying and immediately point out the danger, point out the perceived limitation of your product and immediately provide necessary rebuttal.
